Talken Privacy Policy

Talken (“Talken: Token Speed”) is a macOS menu bar app by GGAMI STUDIO (“we”) that shows how fast Codex CLI, Claude Code, and Grok Build CLI produce output tokens. It works only from the session logs those tools already keep on your Mac. Talken has no account, no server of its own, no network access, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party SDK.

1. What Talken reads

Talken reads a log folder only after you choose it in the macOS open panel. By default these are the Codex CLI folder ~/.codex/sessions, the Claude Code folder ~/.claude/projects, and the Grok Build CLI folder ~/.grok/sessions. In the Grok folder, Talken opens only the updates.jsonl file of each session and does not open the other files there, such as chat history. Access is read-only. Talken never changes or deletes these logs.

From each log line, Talken uses only timestamps, output token counts, model names, and session identifiers. For Grok Build CLI it also uses the request duration (usage.apiDurationMs) and the event identifier (_meta.eventId), which is kept in the cache to avoid counting a turn twice. It does not extract, store, or display the text of your prompts, the responses, or tool output.

2. What Talken stores on your Mac

To start quickly and read only new log lines, Talken keeps a cache in its sandbox container. The cache holds the values listed above for each request, plus the size, modification time, and read position of each log file. Talken also stores the folder access you granted (a security-scoped bookmark) and your settings. If you use “Load sample data”, Talken writes synthetic logs to the same container, and “Clear sample data” removes them.

All of this stays at ~/Library/Containers/studio.ggami.talken. Moving the app to the Trash may leave this folder in place, so delete the folder as well to remove everything Talken stored. We hold no copy and cannot restore it.

3. What Talken sends

Nothing. The app has no network permission, so it cannot send your data to us or to anyone else.

4. Launch at login

If you turn on “Launch at login”, Talken registers itself with macOS so that it opens when you log in. You can turn it off in the app or in System Settings → General → Login Items.

5. Children

Talken is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 14. It does not knowingly collect information from them.

6. Your rights and contact

Because we do not receive any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf; you control it on your Mac. For questions about this policy, email hello@ggami.studio. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, as described in the GGAMI STUDIO privacy policy.

7. Changes

We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date.

Talken(“Talken: Token Speed”)은 까미스튜디오(GGAMI STUDIO, 이하 “스튜디오”)가 만든 macOS 메뉴 막대 앱으로, Codex CLI, Claude Code, Grok Build CLI의 출력 토큰 속도를 보여 줍니다. 이 도구들이 Mac에 이미 남기는 세션 로그만 읽어서 계산합니다. Talken에는 회원가입, 자체 서버, 네트워크 접근, 광고, 분석 도구, 외부 SDK가 없습니다.

1. 읽는 정보

Talken은 이용자가 macOS 열기 창에서 직접 고른 로그 폴더만 읽습니다. 기본 위치는 Codex CLI의 ~/.codex/sessions, Claude Code의 ~/.claude/projects, Grok Build CLI의 ~/.grok/sessions입니다. Grok 폴더에서는 세션마다 updates.jsonl만 열고, 대화 기록 같은 다른 파일은 열지 않습니다. 폴더는 읽기 전용으로 열며, 로그를 바꾸거나 지우지 않습니다.

로그에서 사용하는 정보는 시각, 출력 토큰 수, 모델 이름, 세션 식별자뿐입니다. Grok Build CLI에서는 요청 시간(usage.apiDurationMs)과 이벤트 식별자(_meta.eventId)도 사용하며, 같은 턴을 두 번 세지 않도록 이 식별자를 캐시에 둡니다. 프롬프트와 응답, 도구 출력의 내용은 추출하거나 저장하거나 화면에 표시하지 않습니다.

2. Mac에 저장하는 정보

빠르게 시작하고 새로 추가된 로그만 읽기 위해 앱 전용 저장 공간(샌드박스 컨테이너)에 캐시를 둡니다. 캐시에는 요청마다 위의 정보가 들어가고, 로그 파일마다 크기, 수정 시각, 읽은 위치가 들어갑니다. 이용자가 허용한 폴더 접근 권한(보안 범위 북마크)과 앱 설정도 함께 저장합니다. ‘Load sample data’를 누르면 같은 저장 공간에 합성 로그를 만들고, ‘Clear sample data’를 누르면 지웁니다.

이 정보는 모두 ~/Library/Containers/studio.ggami.talken에 있습니다. 앱을 휴지통으로 옮겨도 이 폴더는 남을 수 있으므로, 모두 지우려면 이 폴더도 삭제해 주세요. 스튜디오는 사본을 갖고 있지 않아 복구해 드릴 수 없습니다.

3. 외부로 보내는 정보

없습니다. 앱에 네트워크 권한이 없어 이용자의 데이터를 스튜디오나 다른 누구에게도 보낼 수 없습니다.

4. 로그인 시 실행

‘Launch at login’을 켜면 로그인할 때 앱이 열리도록 macOS에 등록합니다. 앱 안이나 시스템 설정 → 일반 → 로그인 항목에서 언제든지 끌 수 있습니다.

5. 아동

Talken은 개발자 도구로, 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며 아동의 정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

6. 이용자의 권리와 문의

스튜디오는 이용자의 데이터를 전달받지 않으므로 스튜디오가 대신 열람·정정·삭제할 정보가 없습니다. 모든 데이터는 이용자가 Mac에서 직접 관리합니다. 이 방침에 관한 문의는 hello@ggami.studio로 보내 주세요. 이메일 문의 시 이메일 주소와 문의 내용은 까미스튜디오 개인정보처리방침에 따라 응대 목적으로만 이용합니다.
