Walklayers Privacy Policy

Walklayers (발겹) is an iPhone app by GGAMI STUDIO (“we”) that draws a personal map of the paths you walk. Everything the app records stays on your iPhone. Walklayers has no account, no server of its own, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party SDK.

1. Location

When you tap “Start walk”, the app records your location until you tap “Finish walk”. Recording continues while the screen is locked so that the whole walk is kept. The recorded path and its distance are stored only on your iPhone. The app never records your location when a walk is not in progress, and it never sends your location to us or to anyone else.

Walklayers needs “Precise Location” to draw your path. If you deny location access, the app cannot record walks, but you can still view walks you already recorded or imported.

2. Health data (Apple Health)

If you tap “Import Apple Watch walks”, the app asks for read access to your walking and hiking workouts and their routes in Apple Health. It reads only the workouts from the last 180 days that have a route, converts them into walks on your map, and stores them on your iPhone alongside the walks you recorded. The app never writes to Apple Health.

Health data is used only to draw and layer your walking map. It is never sent off your iPhone, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than the one described here. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.

3. Maps

The app shows your paths on Apple Maps (MapKit). To load map tiles for the area you are looking at, your iPhone sends requests to Apple. Apple handles those requests under Apple's privacy policy. Walklayers does not add any identifier to those requests.

4. Lock Screen and Shortcuts

During a walk the app can show a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with the distance walked so far. Starting and finishing a walk through Siri, Spotlight, the Shortcuts app, or the Action button runs entirely on your iPhone. Neither feature sends data anywhere.

5. Storage, backups, and deletion

All walks are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone. Depending on your device settings, this storage may be included in your iCloud backup or in backups made on your computer, which Apple and you keep under Apple's terms. Deleting the app deletes every walk it stored on the device. We hold no copy and cannot restore it.

6. Children

Walklayers is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Your rights and contact

Because we do not receive any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf; you control it on your device. 8. Changes

We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date.

발겹(Walklayers)은 까미스튜디오(GGAMI STUDIO, 이하 “스튜디오”)가 만든 iPhone 앱으로, 걸은 길을 나만의 지도로 그려 줍니다. 앱이 기록하는 모든 정보는 이용자의 iPhone 안에만 저장됩니다. 발겹에는 회원가입, 자체 서버, 광고, 분석 도구, 외부 SDK가 없습니다.

1. 위치 정보

‘산책 시작’을 누르면 ‘산책 마치기’를 누를 때까지 위치를 기록합니다. 산책 전체를 남기기 위해 화면이 잠겨 있어도 기록은 이어집니다. 기록한 경로와 거리는 이용자의 iPhone에만 저장됩니다. 산책 중이 아닐 때는 위치를 기록하지 않으며, 위치 정보를 스튜디오나 다른 누구에게도 보내지 않습니다.

경로를 그리려면 ‘정확한 위치’ 권한이 필요합니다. 위치 접근을 허용하지 않으면 산책을 기록할 수 없지만, 이미 기록하거나 가져온 산책은 볼 수 있습니다.

2. 건강 데이터(Apple 건강 앱)

‘Apple Watch 산책 불러오기’를 누르면 건강 앱의 걷기·하이킹 운동과 운동 경로에 대한 읽기 권한을 요청합니다. 최근 180일의 운동 중 경로가 있는 것만 읽어 내 지도의 산책으로 바꾸고, 직접 기록한 산책과 함께 iPhone에 저장합니다. 앱은 건강 앱에 어떤 데이터도 쓰지 않습니다.

건강 데이터는 산책 지도를 그리고 겹을 쌓는 데만 사용합니다. iPhone 밖으로 보내지 않고, 제3자에게 제공하지 않으며, 광고·마케팅 등 여기에 적은 목적 외에는 사용하지 않습니다. 권한은 건강 앱의 공유 → 앱에서 언제든지 해제할 수 있습니다.

3. 지도

경로는 Apple 지도(MapKit) 위에 표시됩니다. 보고 있는 지역의 지도 타일을 불러오기 위해 iPhone이 Apple에 요청을 보내며, Apple은 이를 Apple 개인정보 보호 정책에 따라 처리합니다. 발겹은 이 요청에 어떤 식별자도 붙이지 않습니다.

4. 잠금 화면과 단축어

산책 중에는 잠금 화면과 다이내믹 아일랜드에 지금까지 걸은 거리를 보여 주는 라이브 액티비티가 표시될 수 있습니다. Siri, Spotlight, 단축어 앱, 액션 버튼으로 산책을 시작하거나 마치는 기능은 모두 iPhone 안에서만 동작합니다. 두 기능 모두 데이터를 외부로 보내지 않습니다.

5. 저장, 백업, 삭제

모든 산책은 iPhone의 앱 전용 저장 공간에 저장됩니다. 기기 설정에 따라 이 저장 공간이 iCloud 백업이나 컴퓨터 백업에 포함될 수 있으며, 백업은 Apple의 약관에 따라 Apple과 이용자가 보관합니다. 앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 모든 산책이 함께 삭제됩니다. 스튜디오는 사본을 갖고 있지 않아 복구해 드릴 수 없습니다.

6. 아동

발겹은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

7. 이용자의 권리와 문의

스튜디오는 이용자의 데이터를 전달받지 않으므로 스튜디오가 대신 열람·정정·삭제할 정보가 없습니다. 모든 데이터는 이용자가 기기에서 직접 관리합니다. 이 방침에 관한 문의는 hello@ggami.studio로 보내 주세요. 이메일 문의 시 이메일 주소와 문의 내용은 까미스튜디오 개인정보처리방침에 따라 응대 목적으로만 이용합니다.
